Synopsis
Blair thought she would never get over her broken past. She'd all but given up. That's until West fell into her life with a bang.
West thought no one could ever see past his epic mistakes. He'd all but given up. That's until Blair walked into his life and blew it to pieces.
For the first time Blair's given a piece of herself away, picks herself off the ground and moves forward. There's a light at the end of the tunnel and it has bad boy rockstar written all over it. That's something she can work for. Something that makes her believe again.
But West is a part of rock'n'roll band, Affliction. Taking Blair on tour was his idea of heaven, but his time is in high demand and trying to be with her isn't working out as well as he'd hoped.
For Blair, being on the road with one of the most notorious bands in rock is a new kind of messed up. One she's not sure is for her…even with West in her bed.
Jake West has kickstarted her heart, but who will be the one to smash it apart?
Or will their unexplainable attraction be strong enough to save them both?

My Review: 5 stars
Much like the first book in this series, I really enjoyed this book a lot. If you haven't read the first book, go and read it before this one. It will make so much more sense. I liked that both Blair and West were trying to build a relationship together and get over all the bad things that had happened in the past to them separately. I liked that West tried to take care of Blair, but I could completely see her side of things where she had entirely too much time on her hands. Blair is used to taking care of herself, and West coming in and trying to do things for her, doesn't sit right with her. There are things that go on with the tour that he just doesn't see or doesn't get. West doesn't understand how difficult is is for Blair to rely on him for everything. They both truly care for the other. When they have an arguement, and things are said and done that can't be taken back. I hate what West did and am so pissed at him, but I understand why. Yet at the same time, I am so pissed at him for falling back into old, hurtful habits. I hate what Blair did, but understand why. Really, what she did was so much less hurtful that what West did. She just needed a break. By the time they both had figured out what was happening, and that they were being manipulated. It was too late. I am glad that Blair called and talked to Joe and told him what happened. That was a good thing, for the band. I am glad that the end result of that was that they got rid of a big problem for them. The end of this book left me heart broken, because I wanted so much for Blair and West. I know their story isn't over yet, and am still hoping for them to work things out. I did love how the book ended. So many possibilities. Amity has gotten me hooked on this story, and I truly can't wait to find out what happens next.
