My Review: 5 stars
Kendall does it again. This book just pulled me in, like the first one in the series. This time we get to see Knox and McKenna develop a real relationship. This all happens while McKenna is still conflicted over being Knox's sexual addiction counselor, and she's also got a few other things she's dealing with. The difference now is that Knox wants and needs McKenna in his life, and doesn't want to give her up. If that means no other girls, he's fine with that. Yeah, Knox isn't perfect but he's trying so hard to live better, to be a one woman man. Because he's realized how much McKenna means to him, and he doesn't want to lose her. There are so many things that happen in this book. Some answers are given, but more questions arise, there are also secrets that shouldn't be hidden, but are. I so did not see the ending coming the way that it did, but am still looking forward to finding out what does happen for Knox and McKenna. Will it be a happy ever after? I'm hoping. I am very much looking forward to When We Fall, the final book in this series. However it turns out, I'll be along for the ride, because I've got to know how and if they end up together, and so many other things.
