Synopsis:

My Review: 4 stars

I thought this was a novel take on a woman trying to find her place in the world after feeling betrayed by the person who should be taking care of her. Morgan makes the most of the situation, makes a friend who helps her out, and introduces her to Shane. Shane is an enigma to Morgan. But then most people are, she has led a very sheltered life, only to end up on her own. And then by some twist of fate, what she didn't want to happen did, but with someone else. Someone she has a really hard time reading or figuring out. I read all the parts of the serial in order, and it was good, creative, and I really liked that. Her characters were believable, and they were not perfect, but flawed in their own ways. Towards the end, I was shocked by who turned back up again, and it was not a pretty scene. Either time. But things did turn out well. I am glad that I did get to read this all at once, otherwise I may have torn some hair out waiting for the next part of the serial. Great job Casey.
