“I
would have given it to you last night. Anything you wanted, you turned those
lying innocent eyes on me and I would have fucked you so hard you’d forget all
about Scratch.”
“That’s…” I swallowed and his lips grazed the hollow of my
throat. “That’s an asshole thing to say, Jaden.”
“I know.” He pulled away, our noses almost touching, our
harsh breathing mingling together. “Good thing in the light of day I remember
what a selfish, lying killer you are, isn’t it?”
My Review: 5 stars
Stacey has done it again. I don't know how she keeps doing it, but she does. All three of these books in the Nordic Lords MC Series have things that occur simultaneously in each of the books, you just see it through a different character's point of view. Amazing. This book is about Jaden and Jules. Their pain, loss, heartache, recovery, love, and so many other emotions it's difficult to list them all. When I first started reading, I was certain I would hate Jaden for the way that he treated not only Jules, but Sophie as well. I was wrong. Jaden just didn't know how to let go of his anger over Scratch, and a misunderstanding that stood for way too long between him and Jules. Jules for her part, tried to get through to Jaden when things went south originally, so I don't blame her a bit for being sceptical when Jaden wants to be let into her life again and so much more. Damn fine line between love and hate, and this one was a razor wire. I will continue to look forward to more books in this series. They are always well written and suck me in until the very end. I love the characters, they're rough, gruff, no-nonsense men who have honor, loyalty and are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their family, their club, is protected. I can respect that.

About the Author
Amazon Bestselling Author of

Remembering
Us and the Nordic Lords MC series.
I am a wife, a mom, and a writer. I can often
be found curled up on the couch with a good book, or obsessively eating
Skittles in a very complicated and organized manner. No joke.
