Slammed by Kelly Jamieson Spotlight & Review

"He never saw love coming...until it crashed into him. "
Slammed
San Amaro Singles, Book 3
Kelly Jamieson
Synopsis:

Brooke Lowry has a mission: fly to Tahiti, pluck PR nightmare Dylan Schell out of whatever party he's in, bring him home and clean up his image.

It was her idea for Jackson Cole clothing company to sponsor the pro surfer. But the chances of saving this deal-and her career-look pretty slim when she finds the sexy party boy "shooting the curl" with two beach bunnies.

Dylan is finally getting back on track, and the next big event would put him over the top...if it wasn't being held in San Amaro, where he'd be forced to watch his best friends Matt and Corey tie the knot and move on without him.

He'll do anything to keep that from happening, including taking shameless advantage of a tropical cyclone-three days cut off from civilization-to distract the lovely Brooke into his bed.

Despite her moment or three of weakness, Brooke won't be deterred. And suddenly Dylan finds himself facing a lot of things-his hometown, his past, and something he didn't see coming. Love.

Warning: Check it, dude, this book contains a bad boy surfer who gets slammed by fierce waves but gets back up, a buttoned-up woman who learns to chillax, and some righteous shreddin' the gnarl.

My Review: 5 stars
Brooke has to go to Tahiti to get one of her companies Pro surfers under control. What a hardship, right? Well, it is if you're afraid of flying and it's a 15 hour flight. Not good. Dylan is the Pro surfer she needs to get under control - his partying has gotten out of hand. And he really doesn't want to go back to San Amaro until he HAS to. Brooke manages to make it to Tahiti, and once she gets there she not only walks in on Dylan in a threesome. Then Brooke and Dylan get stuck in a tropical storm for days. With only each other for company, things get hot and steamy. Once they get back to San Amaro, Brooke and Dylan both try to keep things all business. Except Brooke still has to make sure Dylan presents a good image, so they spend a lot of time together. And that leads to more between the sheets, all over the room, hot, steamy sex. Brooke and Dylan are both fighting their feelings for each other and they each have their own secrets. You definitely HAVE to read this book. It's got it all.

This is the first book I've had the pleasure of reading by Kelly, and I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it. The writing was in sexy, smooth and left me wanting more. I really enjoyed the way that Kelly captured the surfing lingo and lifestyle, and brought out the business side that I know I hadn't thought about before. It was a joy to read this, brought back lot of memories for me, hanging at the beach watching the surfers. I couldn't put this book down once I picked it up. I can't wait to get my hand on another book from this series, and to see what else Kelly has written. It was an honor and definitely a pleasure to read this.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
